Discoveries
Making my way through the 2261 photos that were collectively taken during my parents' visit, I've reached days 12 and 13. Days on which Ed and I had to work, while my parents explored San Francisco on their own. Looking through the photos they took while they were out and about by themselves was fun, as if I was looking at San Francisco through the eyes of a first-time visitor. Seeing the sometimes odd things they photographed reminds me of how astounded and fascinated I was by many things when I first came out here, more than three years ago, that now seem mundane (a warning sign in a parking garage for example, see here).
Having my parents with us, witnessing their reactions, looking at the photos they took allowed me to rediscover many of these things all over again (like power lines), which was something I really enjoyed about their visit.
Oh well, and then there are things I can not relate to at all, like the bizarre fascination with newspaper stands that they apparently developed:
All pictures here:

Day 13 - Exploring San Francisco, Part II (06/29/2007)
(Credit where credit is due: Since my parents were out and about by themselves on these days, none of the pictures are from me.)

We got married on October 28, 2006, and had the most wonderful wedding with beloved family and friends.

Those newstand photos from afar look really interesting -- like some weird rainbow of teletubby like containers. It's an interesting perspective of them.
